On May 8, 2018, according to the activity arrangement of 'Lanzhou Science and Technology Week' in Zibo City, Yu Xiudong, Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Wang Hongxin, Director of the Zichuan District Science and Technology Bureau, led a team to visit the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication of Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Academician Liu Weimin personally introduced and displayed the original aerospace lubrication materials of Shenzhou VII spacecraft.

At the project docking meeting the next day, Zhao Yu, General Manager of Zibo Huihua, signed a cooperation agreement with the team of Academician Liu Weimin from the Chinese Academy of Sciences to jointly build an academician workstation. Dr. Zhou Feng, Deputy Director of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics and Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the signing ceremony.
