Our company is currently undergoing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) audit as required by the supplier system of the parent company of Rheinmetall, the German Langsheng Group. The purpose of accepting the audit is to have a clear understanding of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation performance (i.e. environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, sustainable procurement), which has a positive impact on the company's own standards and sustainable development.

Langsheng Group is a well-known German specialty chemicals group, founded in 1863 and headquartered in Cologne, Germany. In 2014, its global sales revenue was 8 billion euros. The company's predecessor was Bayer AG in Germany, and Rhein Chemie is one of its subsidiaries. Our products cover fields such as specialty chemicals, fine chemicals, rubber, and plastics.

关于企业社会责任的定义，可以说是见仁见智，每个人都能给多不同的答案。 
对于生产商来说,更熟悉的是社会责任标准，如SA8000、WRAP、ICTI 等等各种国际认证。 世界500强企业过去几年已开始有要求，厂家必须遵循这些新的游戏规则，不适应的企业可能会被排斥在商业游戏之外。这一些标准都是针对制造业的要求。

其实，企业社会责任的涵盖的层面非常之广，并不局限在生产及利润的增长，它关系到企业的生存与发展，关系到员工的福利与安全，关系到企业的销售对象，关系到企业对环境的处理，也关系到企业的长远利益，关系到经济社会的发展与进步。它要求企业在谋取自身及股东经济利益的同时，应该从促进经济和社会发展的目标出发，为利益相关方履行社会义务。

很多大企业，如世界500强，都以企业社会责任作为企业的战略目标。它们会设定各种指标，让企业不断进行优化，让整个组织向前发展，各个部门具体落实，并不断通过反馈，根据实现的情况修正活动以达到目标。这样的活动并不是临时的，而应该作为制度、作为体系加以推动。
